Ordering Guidlines

At Nicholas Kniel, we strive to exceed your expectations and we will work with you, within reason, to ensure you are fully satisfied with your purchase. Because we are a retail provider of a vast array of ribbons and other embellishments that come in many colors and textures that may not display accurately on your computer monitor, we encourage you to take advantage of our sampling service before ordering cut yardage items if you are not sure if the color or texture will work for you. Understandably, we are unable to accept returns on cut yardage purchases.

All Purchases

  • Our minimum online purchase, not including sales tax or shipping & handling charges, is 25.00
  • Prices shown are subject to change at any time.
  • Cut yardage items are sold in increments of 1 yard and our minimum cut is 1 yard.

Samples

Since we are unable to accept returns on cut yardage purchases, we encourage to take advantage of our sampling service if you are unsure of the color and texture of your desired purchase. Our service is detailed below:

  • Samples will be 1/8 yard (4 1/2 inches) in length
  • Cost for each sample is $1.50 ($US) This includes shipping and handling fees.
  • Samples ARE NOT available for vintage items.

Return Policy

  • We are unable to accept returns on cut yardage items. Please use our sampling service if you are not sure about the color or texture of our ribbons and trims.
  • Single items may be returned in their original condition and packaging, as long as the seal is intact.
  • Store credit will be issued for accepted returned items.
  • Please contact Nicholas Kniel prior to returning any item.

Shipping Policy

All orders will be shipped Priority Status via U.S. Mail. The average delivery for domestic shipments will be 2-3 business days and delivery for international deliveries averages 3-5 business days. If you need your purchase delivered more quickly, please let us know. We'll be happy to arrange expedited shipping for you, at an additional charge. Our minimum fees are detailed below. Fees may increase based on weight or size of shipment

  • US Domestic shipments: $5.00
  • International shipments: $8.00
